WAN - Following Iran's closure of its border crossings, hundreds of vehicles were stranded at the Başmak Border Crossing.

 

Iran issued an official decree yesterday banning the export of all food and agricultural products and closing all border crossings except Başmak to trade. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded at the Başmak border crossing with the Iraqi Federal Kurdistan Region because they were not permitted to cross.
