Attack on an oil well in Deir ez-Zor

NEWS CENTER – An armed group attacked an oil well in Deir ez-Zor, resulting in a major fire. 
 
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that an unidentified armed group had attacked the Abu Nura oil well in the Secer region, east of Deir ez-Zor. The statement noted that the attack caused a major fire at the well and that the well sustained serious damage. 
 
The transitional government forces have not yet made any statement regarding the incident.
