ANKARA - Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz said the committee defined in the law and chaired by the Vice President will hold its first meeting on August 24.

 

Following the publication in the Official Gazette of the “Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration,” which was passed by Parliament’s General Assembly, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz issued a statement on social media.

 

FIRST COMMITTEE MEETING DATE ANNOUNCED

 

Yılmaz said: “Our ministers and institutional representatives serving on the committee have also begun work within their respective areas of responsibility. We plan to hold the committee’s first meeting on Monday, August 24. The meeting will address the committee’s working procedures and principles, as well as the subcommittees to be established based on the needs of the disarmament and dissolution process. We will also consider any issues that committee members may raise and that require coordination among our institutions.”
