Drone and missile attack on Erbil's Koye district
NEWS CENTER – Early in the morning, a large number of missiles and drones were used to attack Erbil’s Koye district.
The US-Israel-Iran war continues on its fourth day. The war has spread to many countries and regions. The city of Erbil in the Kurdistan Region is also a target of the attacks. Speaking to Rudaw, the Governor of Erbil's Koye district reported that three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) attacked the Azadi Camp. Local sources stated that missiles were also used in the attack.
Koye Governor Tariq Haydari said, "Today is Tuesday, and three UAVs attacked the Azadi Camp within the borders of our district. As a result of the attack, one person was injured, but their health condition is good."
The Azadi Camp hosts the families of the Peshmerga of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (I-KDP).
