DİYARBAKIR- Academician Sabir Ebdulahizad who departed from Iran and prepared the Legal Disctionary in 4 languages, said Kurdish students must prepare at least one of their studies in their mothertongue.
Academician Sabir Ebdulahizad who had to leave Iran because of the political oppression after he was discharged from his duty in Mahabad University , prepared the Legal Dictionary in 4 languages being, English, Kurdish, Turkish and Farsi. The dictionary that is published by Sitav Publications consists of 224 word/ term. The dictionary's being in 4 languages is a first.
PREPARATION OF THE SECOND DICTIONARY
Ebdulahizad who spoke to Mezopotamya Agency (MA) said he always found it curious that even though there are hundreds of Kurdish students in different universities of the world they did not perfom their studies in their mother tongue, and said "That's why I decided to prepare this dictionary. It seems to be a small step but I value it in sake of the Kurdish language studies.Ebdulahizad said the second dictionary he has been working on will also be published by Sitav Publications.
"WE HAD TO LEAVE IRAN"
Ebdulahizad who indicated that the assimilations agianst the Kurdish Language continues in Iran too, said many students and academicians had to leave Iran Kurdistan and the other districts due to political oppression.
