Application to AYM for detainees who are not being taken to hospital

İSTANBUL- Lawyers of ÖHD brought the fact that prisoners who ended their hunger strikes in Bakırköy Type L Women's Prison are not being referred to hospital to the Constitutional Court.

 
Following the hunger strikes ended with the call of PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, the prisoners in Bakırköy L Type Women's Closed Prison are still not being referred to the hospital. Even though Nesrin Akgül,Şükran Aydın and Zozan Çiçek who was on death fast was referred to the hospital as a result of the public pressure,they were transferred back to the prison the same day. Lawyers for Freedom Association (ÖHD) applied to the Constitutional Court (AYM) for violations in Bakırköy Prison.
