DİYARBAKIR - Rosa Women's Association shared the message of its member women who were arrested. Women shared the message that "We will never give up on saying that 'Femicide is political' whatever they do".
9 Kwomen were arrested in Diyarbakir as part of the investigation against Rosa Women's Association held by Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on the grounds of "being a member of a organization". The women, who were sent to Diyarbakır Women's Closed Prison sent a message through their lawyers.
WE WILL NOT BACK DOWN
Rosa Women's Association shared the message of their 9 member women who were arrested as follows in their Twitter acount: "This is the message of our woman friends, who were taken into custody on May 22 and then arrested: 'We send our endless thanks to all women's associations, our lawyer friends, who were with us through and after the custody despite the pandemic and member of the parliement, who raised solidarity with us, making us feel the power of the women's struggle and how strong we are when we are all together. We know that there is no single power that could stand against the women's struggle and this solidarity. We will never give up on saying that 'Femicide is political', saying that 'Women want peace', saying that '’Jin jîyan e, jiyane ne kujê’ whatever they do. Because we know how rightful our struggle is. Tomorrow will be much better.
