NEWS CENTER - The programme organised in Tandil, Argentina for the presentation of Abdullah Öcalan's defence entitled "Sociology of Freedom" attracted great interest.
A promotional event on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's defence entitled Sociology of Freedom was organised in Tandil, Argentina. The event included a seminar and a well-attended discussion programme. The presentation and discussion programme was organised by Professor of Political Science Luciana Bidauri at the Faculty of Humanities. The event was attended by a large number of people. Participants included students, academics, lecturers and political activists.
The programme started with the opening speech of the dean of the faculty. This was followed by comprehensive presentations on the history of the Kurdish people, the development of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement, Abdullah Öcalan's life and the "Sociology of Freedom" paradigm.
The participants drew attention to the importance of Abdullah Öcalan's 27 February call for a Peaceful Democratic Society. In addition, the social struggle experiences of the peoples of Argentina were evaluated and discussed from the perspective of Abdullah Öcalan's paradigm. The participants described Abdullah Öcalan's thought and philosophy as a source of hope and enlightenment and reiterated their support for the struggle for his physical freedom.
