IPPNW Turkey Representative Gisela Penteker, who has been banned from entering Turkey for the last 3 years, stated that Abdullah Öcalan's freedom is a chance for the peace of Kurdish and Turkish peoples and said, "His freedom would help all the region and the women as well."
Stating that they are behind Abdullah Öcalan's call, the Peace Mothers said that Abdullah Öcalan's physical freedom must be ensured and that an honourable peace will benefit everyone.
