Writer Ahmet Aktaş shared with the public the photograph he took with Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan 42 years ago in Damascus through Kurdish newspaper Xwebûn. The newspaper contacted Aktaş and shared with its readers a photograph he took with Abdullah Öcalan in 1983.
 
Aktaş stated that he shared the photo frame with the public for the first time through the newspaper.
