The 5th member of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party's Commission on National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy has been elected as Istanbul MP Celal Firat.
The "National Solidarity, Fraternity and Democracy Commission", which was established in Parliament yesterday, has decided to hold its meeting on August 8 in closed session.
In the final declaration announced after the DBP Party Assembly meeting it is stated: “The democratic solution of the Kurdish issue is the key not only for the Kurdish people but also for a new future in which all the peoples of the region will live in peace.”
